"Life becomes a lot more fun when you don't care what people think of you."
This is a hard one to remember, as human beings we have a bad habit of focusing too much of our time on other peoples opinions on us, how we look, act, come across, and it's something that is very hard to overcome. However once you have I PROMISE you that your life will be so much easier and you will enjoy it an awful lot more.
This may seem like a pretty pointless post to some of you, but I just wanted to show some new Soap and Glory products I've got, including this lovely Christmas gift set I received! I've fallen completely in love with this brand recently, and you never know, maybe one day I'll do a review on some of the products.
1. 'Sugar Crush' fresh & foamy body wash
2. 'The Righteous Butter' body lotion
Giftset includes:
1. 'Clean on me' creamy shower gel
2. 'The scrub of your life' body butter
3. 'Hand food' hydrating hand cream
4. 'The Righteous Butter' body moisturiser

Now I happen to be a huge home decor fangirl, take me into a shop selling furniture and cute things you can put around your house and I'm in complete heaven. I just thought I'd make this post to show you a few of my favourite things that I've put around my living area recently, because, well, why not!
First we have this 'Bits N Bobs' box that I picked up recently from The Works for only £2, I thought it was super adorable and for such a cheap price too. I haven't decided what to put in it yet, maybe just random things that I keep even though they have no meaning, but I'll find a use for it.
Secondly we have this Love sign, with 2 butterflies at the top, it's very pretty and looks nice on a windowsill or something like that, it's a lot more modern than the wooden box and looks more expensive, but it makes a nice touch.
Lastly we have a candle. No room is complete without a candle in my opinion, I can't get enough of them! This one is a Colony one in French Lavender. It's such a delicate smell yet unlike most similar light smells, it is actually noticeable and does make your room smell nice without being too overpowering and strong.
I hope you enjoyed this post and I hope you all have a Happy New Year! Bring on 2015, I'm super excited to see what it brings!

A lot of people complain about our generation taking lots of pictures when they're out with their friends, or at concerts, or out having fun, they say that you should 'put technology away and live in the moment', and don't get me wrong I do agree in a way, but what's wrong with keeping memories?
One day you won't remember living in those happy moments, and yes, you shouldn't spend hours on your phone in times like that, but spending a few minutes capturing the happiness you're experiencing can't be a bad thing. I vlog for a reason, I love looking back at old photos and videos, because 'living in the moment' isn't going to keep me alive when I'm sad and in need of happy moments, but those pictures will. When I'm in need of remembering all the good things I've experienced and all the amazing things I've done, when I can't remember them well enough in my brain, those will keep the memories alive, and they'll never fade.
I think a balance is important, why can't we do both? Live in the moment and capture it? Life goes quick and memories fade, and there's nothing better than being able to look back at everything you've done. It gives some people a sense of happiness, don't take that away from them.

I was browsing the wonderful website known as tumblr a few days ago and I came across this photo, I just had to post about it on here. So many people, myself including, get scared to say 'hello' to strangers incase they think we're strange, or we get judged, but just remember that 'A stranger is just a friend you haven't met yet'. It's true, everyone you know now were once strangers to you, and if you hadn't of talked to them then you wouldn't be sharing all the experiences and memories that you currently are.
A simple hello really could lead to a million things, there's countless opportunities that could happen just by you saying hello to someone. The worst they can do is just not want to associate themselves with you, right? Then that's their problem not yours, don't waste the chance of making maybe one of the best friends you could have just by being scared to say one simple hello, take the chance.

1. Would you rather lose all of your mascaras, eyeliners, lipsticks & lip glosses or lose all of your palettes and eyeshadows?
See, I personally don't find this a hard question at all. I can't go out without heavy eye makeup, I love eyeshadow don't get me wrong, but I'd never wear it without mascara & eyeliner anyway, so I'd rather lose the latter.
2. Would you rather chop of all your hair or never be able to cut it again?
Definitely never be able to cut it again, I barely cut it anyway. I can't even tie my hair up without feeling uncomfortable, let alone chopping it all off!
3. Would you rather have a coral cheek or a pink cheek?
I don't normally wear any colour on my cheeks, but I'm probably going to go with a coral cheek as I feel it's a lot lighter and prettier.
4. If you had £1000 to spend, would you rather buy clothes or makeup?
I absolutely love makeup, but I'm going to have to go with clothes here, purely because I'm running out of them desperately right now.
5. Would you rather apply lipstick as eyeliner or eyeliner as lipstick?
I feel like lipstick as eyeliner would be WAY too messy, so I think I'll go with eyeliner as lipstick. It could just be like using lipliner, right?
6. Would you rather only shop at MAC or Sephora?
I've never actually brought anything from Sephora, but I've heard that it has such a huge range that I'd have to go with that one.
7. Would you rather only use one eyeshadow colour or one lip colour for the rest of your life?
Both would suck, so this is kinda difficult, but I'll go with one lip colour, purely because for the past few years I've only really worn the same one anyway. Yeah I've strayed away a lot but I've always gone back, so I feel like I'd be able to cope pretty easy.
8. Would you rather have dark nails or bright nails all year round?
At college I used to be called a 'Goth Taylor Swift' and I think that sums up my answer to this, dark all the way! I don't really feel bright colours suit me, and I'm a huge fan of dark colours whatever the weather so.
9. Would you rather give up your favourite lip product or your favourite eye product?
This is so so hard, but I think I'd give up my favourite eye product as I could probably replace it a lot easier than my favourite lip one.
10. Would you rather never be able to paint your nails again or never use lipgloss?
I hate lipglosses anyway, I hate how sticky they are and I only really like matte lips, so I'll go with the latter.
11. Would you rather shave your eyebrows and have none at all, or sharpie them in everyday?
Oh gosh, this is so hard to answer, I think I'm going to have to pass! Is that even allowed? Oh well.
12. Would you rather live without makeup or nail polish?
This is the easiest question ever. I love nail polish and making them look all nice and pretty and everything yeah, but I feel makeup is so much more important. You can do so much more with it, and I just couldn't live without it.

So on 24th November I went to the lovely Pixie Lotts album launch in London, and it was absolutely great! Pixie was AMAZING, her performance was great, the album is definitely on my Christmas list (it's called 'Platinum Pixie' for those of you who may be curious) and the day and night overall just made me extremely happy. I also got to spend the day with my friend Kelly, who I hadn't seen in a while, and we had a little look around Winter Wonderland! Sadly I didn't get to go properly, but hopefully I will before the end of the year!
I also happened to meet the lovely Jade from Little Mix, it was a completely random surprise, I never expected to see her there, but it was great nevertheless! She was super super lovely and pretty, and the picture isn't the best but that doesn't matter too much. Although, I do strangely look like a Vampire. I swear I'm not that pale?!
Anyway, thank you so much for reading this, and following my blog and etc, it really does mean a lot to me, and I know I've been pretty terrible with posting lately, but it's hard to run a blog when you don't own a laptop of your own! I've planned a ton of posts though, so I'll be sure to throw them all your way soon, so I'll see you in a couple of days!

So I stumbled across this picture on tumblr the other day, and I've been thinking about it a lot, and I think it makes an excellent point. "Be more concerned with your character than with your reputation" So so so many of us care so much about our reputation, and how we come across to others, yet we don't consider that we should worry more about what we're actually like. Especially in things like school and social activities, all we ever used to bother with was our reputation. Whether we were considered 'popular' or 'a nerd' and other things like that, I know I was like it and I know most of you probably were too. I think it's only human nature to care about things like that, but when you really think about it do you realize just how petty it all is.
As you grow older you kind of grow out of caring so much about how you're seen by the world, and how good or bad your reputation is, I don't think it goes away for everyone, but I do think you care a lot less about it, however I do think it is more important that you do actually take more notice in how you actually are. Your character is you, if you come across as having a bad reputation, instead of trying to change that reputation, why don't we have a look at ourselves and see if that's the problem? See if it's that we maybe have a bad character, hence why our reputation isn't that great, and focus more on changing our character or sorting it out than the latter?
Just some random thoughts, do you agree or disagree? I'd love to hear your opinions in the comments below, or for you to tweet me what you think!

Most of you will probably know of the lovely beauty named Zoella, and she recently released her own range called 'Zoella Beauty', and I think I'm a tiny bit obsessed with this makeup bag oh my.
The only point in this post is to show you the makeup bag, which is my current one and probably will be for quite a while, it's just gorgeous. The size is perfect, it's not too big and not too small, it's a washable material, the colours are super pretty and the design on it is just, wow.

Sorry for the not so great pictures today, I currently can't locate my camera battery, but I'll find it soon I promise. Anyway, these are just some random favourites of mine, I feel like it's too late for me to do my October beauty favourites now, but I'll do my November ones when the time comes around!
Nick & Norah's Infinite Playlist - by Rachel Cohn & David Levithan
Clipper Green Tea
Elle Magazine
Zoella Makeup bag
Avon 'smokey eye' eyeshadow palette
Tanya Burrs lipgloss in 'Vampire Kiss'
Sorry for the last minute excuse of a post, I've just had a super busy day, I'll make sure my next ones are a LOT better! I'm also trying to get into a schedule, where I upload every Monday, Wednesday and Friday, and I'm determined to keep it up!

The other day my Mum decided to take me and my friend Jess to the cinema to go see the film 'Love, Rosie'. I saw the film trailer a while back, and although I couldn't remember much about it, I remembered that it looked good. I can honestly say that this film is now one of my favourite films ever. The main appeal this film had, is that the two main characters are played by 2 of my favourite actors, Lily Collins and Sam Claflin, and can I just say that their acting in this film was on point. I really felt the chemistry between them, and my god did I feel a LOT in this film.
There was not a moment when I wasn't either crying with laughter or crying with how emotional I was, it was absolutely full of moments which caused either one or the other. It definitely does fit the whole romantic comedy theme, I find a lot of romcoms lean more on the romantic side than the comedy side, however this film created the perfect balance between the two, which is one of the reasons I've added it to my favourites.
I'd definitely recommend you see this, however do take some tissues with you, you will need them. I'm not sure if it's still on cinema anymore, but you should definitely add it to your list to see when you can, you won't regret it at all. Overall it was a great film and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Even my Nan, who isn't the biggest fan of romcoms absolutely loved it, and to me that's saying something.
(You can find the trailer here)
