Blackpool Day Trip

Tuesday, 14 May 2019

Last year I went on a family holiday to The Lake District. After a long drive we arrived in what quickly become one of my favorite places maybe ever. I'm not going to go on about that too much in this post as I'm doing a separate post of my photographs from up there, but during our trip up North we made a day trip to Blackpool too, it was only about an hour and a half from The Lake District and in the warmth was a really nice trip out.

We went up to the Blackpool Tower, it had AMAZING views and was just breath taking, but my fear of heights had to be a bit annoying. The glass floor up there was so cool but it took me about 15 minutes to even put one foot on there, kids were doing better than I was! I was a bit of a laughing stock but really, can you blame me?

I also managed to drag my Mum to Blackpool Dungeons. I've been to the London Dungeons before when I was little and loved it, so I had to try the one up there too while we were in Blackpool. It was a great experience, had so many funny moments and even freaked me out a little! One part we had to all sit in these seats in the pitch black with sounds and etc, it didn't really scare me like that but then all of a sudden the back of our seats dropped and I literally almost wet myself. I grabbed the hand of the woman next to me by accident with a proper grip, luckily she found it hilarious! Talk about embarrassing though.

Overall I really loved the day trip out, it was a last minute thing but I'd always wanted to visit Blackpool so it was nice to finally do that. There was so much to do and the Weather was definitely on our side. I'd love to go again some time, I just live so far away so it's not exactly easy. What are your favourite places to visit? I'll be uploading my post from the actual Lake District itself soon, I just have so much to put in it because I really loved it up there.

Weymouth Diaries: Monkey World

Monday, 4 September 2017

I apologise for not uploading in a while but I do have a legit excuse this time (for once).. I've been on holiday. Okay it wasn't anywhere fancy abroad, I may have stayed in the country but I did travel 5 hours so maybe we could call it a break? Yeah, we'll go with that. I went on a family 'break' to Weymouth in Dorset and oh my gosh was it gorgeous! We packed so much into such a short space of time so we could make the most of it which is why I've decided to do separate posts on everything as there's just so many photos. Firstly I've decided to show you all Monkey World which is the first thing we did, personally I never even knew it existed but hey ho, the monkeys were literally the cutest things! They were quite difficult to get photo's of though with how packed it was and bearing in mind there was a fence between us which made it 50 billion times harder unfortunately. Quick warning, all these Weymouth Diaries posts I upload will be mostly picture based as I took quite a few, so enjoy!

Hyde Park Winter Wonderland

Wednesday, 2 December 2015

The other day I was lucky enough to be invited to a wonderful little event hosted by JewelleryBox at their pop up shop in Brick Lane. Unfortunately I didn't take many photos as my camera died, however it was such a lovely evening full of wine, temporary tattoos and of course, jewellery! Before the event itself a few blogger friends and I made a little trip to Winter Wonderland, which, luckily I did photograph! So here, enjoy a few photos :) 411ba687c185e01d479c90eee1c737a56878d34f46c13fa6ea

Scarlett Londons Bloggers Festival Take Two!

Thursday, 17 September 2015

If you've been following me through this little blogging journey of mine you may remember the first blogging event I ever went to around a year ago now, link to a post on it here. A few days ago I went to take 2 of the same event which was hosted by the lovely Scarlett London, I went in not knowing what to expect apart from the fact that she hosts such kickass events it was bound to be awesome, and can I just say she did not disappoint. So without further ado here are a bunch of photos from this years Bloggers Festival!

Bloggers Take Pizza Express

Tuesday, 15 September 2015

So before Scarlett London's blogger Festival the other week (post coming soon!!) the lovely girls over at SoeursDeluxe arranged a Bloggers Lunch at Pizza Express so a bunch of us could meet and hang out before heading over to the event. Although I was terrified at first and didn't know what to expect I absolutely enjoyed it!

Vernez App Launch Event

Friday, 11 September 2015

The other week I went to the launch party for an app called Vernez, it's a fashion based app where you can create your own little outfit boards and follow people and a bunch of other cool stuff. As someone who has no clue about fashion, for me this is a lifesaver! Anyway, it was a great evening full of free wine, meeting some super interesting people (including the lovely people who work at Vernez, some fabulous bloggers and even a boyband called Franklin Lake).

Visiting Castles

Tuesday, 16 June 2015

Last week on a spare day off me, my Mum and my Brother took a little trip to Bodium castle. We got a cute little steam train there and back, while feeling extremely British drinking tea during the journey, and then had a little wonder round the ruins. I obviously had to take my camera and snap a few photos (and by a few I mean a lot), but I've just chosen a couple to put on here and show y'all.

Seaside Adventures

Monday, 23 February 2015

I went to stay with my friend Jess last Thursday to Sunday, and for the first time I got to experience Eastbournes seaside, even if the weather wasn't that great. My Parents came to pick me up and we thought we'd chill and have a look around while we were there, since I don't think I've ever been before. We didn't stay long because it was freezing and the wind was insane, but I got a few lovely pictures while we did.

Pixie Lotts Album Launch

Sunday, 7 December 2014

So on 24th November I went to the lovely Pixie Lotts album launch in London, and it was absolutely great! Pixie was AMAZING, her performance was great, the album is definitely on my Christmas list (it's called 'Platinum Pixie' for those of you who may be curious) and the day and night overall just made me extremely happy. I also got to spend the day with my friend Kelly, who I hadn't seen in a while, and we had a little look around Winter Wonderland! Sadly I didn't get to go properly, but hopefully I will before the end of the year!

I also happened to meet the lovely Jade from Little Mix, it was a completely random surprise, I never expected to see her there, but it was great nevertheless! She was super super lovely and pretty, and the picture isn't the best but that doesn't matter too much. Although, I do strangely look like a Vampire. I swear I'm not that pale?!

Anyway, thank you so much for reading this, and following my blog and etc, it really does mean a lot to me, and I know I've been pretty terrible with posting lately, but it's hard to run a blog when you don't own a laptop of your own! I've planned a ton of posts though, so I'll be sure to throw them all your way soon, so I'll see you in a couple of days!

Scarlett London - Bloggers Festival

Thursday, 18 September 2014

So the other week I was invited to the Bloggers Festival in London by the beautiful Scarlett, and it was the first type of blog event I'd been to and can I just say it was AMAZING. It was super nice to meet so many bloggers and companies, and to get to talk to all these different people. I'd also like to give a huge thank you to Cat and Tania for keeping me company for the day, they were so lovely and helped make me feel comfortable. This post is going to be rather long so I apologize in advance, but I took a fair few photos and I wanted to include them all!
